1 - Welcome!

In this tutorial, you will construct your first Android App in Java. By the end, you'll have a working random number generator created using Android Studio, an IDE designed specifically for Android app development.

Be ready to:

• Add interactive buttons to your app
• Display a certain screen upon pressing a button
• Experiment with design choices
• Assign functions to the interactive buttons

Beware

• You need to already know how to code in Java or Kotlin. ‼️
• You need a computer that will need to run Android Studio 3.6 or higher. (check the number if its right!!!) ‼️

2 - Install Android Studio

You can download Android Studio using this link here. Make sure to check out its features including an enhanced code editor and customized templates. It also has extensive testing and debugging tools and allows you to run your code faster. Get ready to build! Or test apps you already have.
